When and where is the wedding?

The wedding will take place at 5pm on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at the PlumpJack Inn in Olympic Valley, CA (Palisades Tahoe). Please arrive early to settle in and snag your seat. Specific details, including directions, will be available closer to the date.

How do we get there?

The closest airport to Olympic Valley / Tahoe City is Reno International Airport (RNO), which is about a 1-hour drive. We recommend renting a car to explore all Tahoe has to offer or you can book a Shuttle.

What is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by October 1, 2025 to confirm your attendance.

What should I wear to the wedding?

The dress code is Mountain Formal. Don’t be shy - bring your boldest, most fabulous fit! We’re encouraging fun eclectic attire that celebrates both our Texas and California roots.

  • For Ladies: Floor-length gowns, cocktail dresses, or tea-length dresses are all welcome. Bold colors, prints, patterns, velvet, silk, lace, and metallic accents are encouraged to make a statement and add a bit of sparkle to the celebration!

  • For Men: A tuxedo or suit is perfect, but feel free to get creative with the fabric or color.

  • It will be winter so feel free to break out your cowboy boots, hats, bolo ties, and fur coats. We want you to stay warm and look fabulous!

What will the weather be like in Tahoe in December?

Tahoe in early December is typically cold with a chance of snow! However, weather is variable and could range from mid 50s and sunny to below freezing and blizzard. Snow is common, and we're hoping guests can hit the slopes for a few early seasons runs!

Can I bring my kids?

We love your little ones, but our wedding reception will be an adults-only event. Thank you for understanding!

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Please let us know any dietary restrictions or allergies when you RSVP, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Will the events be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony will be indoors. Please note that Wedding Day Events will be held on two stories and there is no elevator access. Please reach out to Sam with any concerns.
